Lübeck-Schlutup – between the River Trave and the Hanseatic city

The watermill and the miller’s house are located in the former fishing village of Schlutup on the banks of the River Trave. Here, you can enjoy peace and nature while remaining close to Lübeck city centre. The historic Old Town can be reached by car in around 15 minutes. Travemünde, the Baltic Sea coast and the picturesque fishing village of Gothmund are also ideal destinations for day trips. Local shops and a weekly market can be found nearby.

Schönberg – discover Mecklenburg

The Old Granary is located in Schönberg, Mecklenburg, around 15 kilometres east of Lübeck. Surrounded by fields, forests and waterways, the area is perfect for walking, cycling and relaxing. Local attractions include the historic town centre, St Lawrence’s Church and the Museum of Folklore with its open-air exhibition. With easy access to the A20 motorway and direct rail connections to Lübeck, Schönberg is also an excellent base for exploring the Baltic Sea coast, Travemünde, Boltenhagen and Lake Schaalsee.
